Morning Prayers. Each day, Monday to Thursday, Morning Prayers take place in the chapel at Parish House at 8.30am (8.45am on Thursday). All are welcome to come and join in this time of quiet informal prayer.

Congregation Meetings Over the next few weeks Revd Richard Walker will be conducting meetings with each of the main congregations. The meetings will take place immediately after services have finished so that as many congregation members can be involved as possible. The aim is to explore and develop a vision for the future of each congregation within the whole. It is an opportunity to get involved with your own service and have a voice in how it may develop. The first meeting is after the 10.00 am service on 24th September. Dates for the 9.30 am and 11.00 am services will follow soon.

The next Churches Together in Scarborough steering group meeting will take place at Northstead Methodist Church on Tuesday 19th Sept at 7.30 pm.

The next meeting of the PCC will be on 20th September at Parish House at the new time of 7.00pm.

The next Alpha Course will start after the Archbishop’s mission, on Wednesday 15th November. Look out for more information coming soon.

Small Groups. Home groups, and Tuesday Evening Worship, are places where we encourage each other in developing the life of Jesus in ourselves and in our church. We can explore how the Bible applies in our daily lives and ask questions in a way that isn’t possible within a Sunday service, as well as developing quality relationships with each other. It is really valuable for every church member to belong to such a group. If you would like to know more please call the church office (500541). Read more.
