A Fundraising concert by Scarborough Area Music Centre to support the Rainbow Centre will be held on Saturday the 6th May 2017 from 7.30pm Parish House, Castle Road, Scarborough. Tickets on the door £5 for adults and £3 concessions

Christian Aid Week This year Christian Aid Week in Scarborough is from 14th to 20th May. Celebrating its 60th anniversary, CA is returning to its roots and is focusing once again on providing aid to refugees around the world. Last year CA raised £10,300 in Scarborough. Please do support CA’s efforts in any way you can to beat last year’s total. There are various ways for us to get involved in supporting Christian Aid:
There will be retiring collections at each service on 14th and 21st May.
Alan Courtney will, once again, be taking part in a gruelling 5 mile walk on 14th May. Sponsorship forms will be at the back of church. Additional walkers (over 14 years) are welcome if they have sponsors. Details of the walk and sponsorship forms are available from John Barton ( 370286) or Neil Mould (363316).
A cake stall will be at Boyes Store basement on Tuesday 16th May. Donations of cakes, tray bakes, scones etc, wrapped in cling film or similar would be much appreciated, as would offers to help on the stall. For more information contact Gail Card (352278) or Jan Watts (360410).

Rainbow Centre Food Boxes at St Mary’s and Holy Apostles Buying a tin or packet and placing it in the box in Church helps us connect with the real need of so many. So, let’s see if we can fill the boxes every Sunday!

Small Groups. Home groups, and Tuesday Evening Worship, are places where we encourage each other in developing the life of Jesus in ourselves and in our church. We can explore how the Bible applies in our daily lives and ask questions in a way that isn’t possible within a Sunday service, as well as developing quality relationships with each other.
