Archbishop’s Mission

Friday 13th – Sunday 15th October

The Archbishop of York’s Deanery Missions will build on the wonderful ministries already alive in the Diocese of York and follow on from the Archbishop’s 6-month long Pilgrimage of Prayer, Witness and Blessing across the Diocese which ended in May 2016.

Friday 13th October : Does God heal today? A worship evening with Dr John Sentamu, Archbishop of York, exploring prayer and healing today. Venue: All Saints Church, Hunmanby. 7pm. All welcome, free admission and refreshments will be available.

Saturday October 14th: Celebration of Marriage and Renewal of Wedding Vows  at St Mary’s Church at 3pm.

Saturday 14th October: Barn Dance and Pie & Pea Supper. Venue: St Mary’s Parish House, Castle Rd, Scarborough. 7pm – 10pm. Music by Grassroots band. Tickets £8 (Family £20) available from Deanery Synod members in church – all proceeds will go to the Rainbow Centre.

Sunday 15 October  10.30am until 4pm the Mission will be in Scarborough ‘Come and See, Come and Follow’ – All Welcome. At ‘The Scarborough Fair Collection’  Flower of May Caravan Park YO11 3NU.
